For about twenty years Mr Comer and his family lived on his farm at Pukekura, and by his many good qualities he made a host of friends there. About six years ago he sold out and purchased land at Motu, and went to reside there with his wife and family, Mr Comer’s eldest son George! lately drew' a section near Opotiwi, so the father decided to remove with his family to that place, were he purchased a residence and a few acres of land. He sold his farm at Motu and wars about to remove to Opotiki, when he was taken suddenly ill and expired as above, aged 76. Mr Comer was in Cambridge some few months since, and he then looked well and hearty.
