We have some spare protective
jackets, hats and
veils etc. for visitors to use if needed.
Light refreshments are usually provided and it is
always appreciated if members, visitors and guests will inform
the host or secretary of their
intention to attend.
With the beginner bee
keeper in mind. Meeting subjects are usually
demonstrations or talks by experienced beekeepers based on an aspect of
beekeeping according to the season.
ie: Colony health and husbandry, Swarm control, Honey extraction etc.
